In the land of the bouncy house

My mom and dad bought one of those ENORMOUS bouncy house things with the slide attached to it this summer. The girls have had a blast in it, but nobody has as much fun as Boppa Joe...hehe!

My first harvest!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you my very first harvest! Yes thats right I grew these babies myself! (Well Kealani planted the beans ^-^) I would have beautiful strawberries to add here but Mitchell ate them all! I also have a gorgeous yellow squash that could not be pictured because I selfishly want to get it as big as I possibly can!

p.s. I planted WAY late because I was too large and pregnant to be doing any gardening...

The Lewis Girls & The TABLE MONSTER!

What an adventure these 2 brave Lewis Girls had today! They traveled deep into the depths of the living room where there was rumored to live a cranky table monster! When they reached the living room they saw nothing but a plain wooden coffee table with no cranky occupant underneath. Being as brave as they are they climbed aboard all ready to ride the table home and prove to the world the monster was just a myth. But after their tiny feet left the safety of the floor the table began to wobble and shake as the angry monster below bellowed ...

"who dares climb upon my table!"

If it had been me I would have fled in an instant, but not these two girls! Kealani and Mikayla grasped the sides of the table with all their might determined to tame this wild beast. THey underestimated the strength of the table monster as they were tossed to and fro and even flown off a few times coming dangerously close to being gobbled up! My heart sank as the monster reached out and grabbed Kealani trying to kiss her to pieces!

But after hours of this intense battle they finally crushed the infamous table monster and stomped him down with their tiny feet until he groaned his last. They had gone up against a giant and come out on top (literally, they were on top of him :)

I can't wait to follow these couragous young gals on their next quest.

Blueberry Fields Forever...

Mitchells dad and step-mom came over today and took him and the kids to Smiths Blueberry flats, around the corner from our house, for some good ole berry picking! Mitchell got some great photos!

Of course 15 minutes later Kealani was threatening to spank Mikayla's butt and turn her into a frog but at least I got my moment!

Harrington/Walker 2008 Family Reunion

Today was a lot of fun! It is always so nice to gather together with your family. Every year my grandma Lola's side of the family has a big get together in Corbett and I think every year gets better! The girls had a blast running around and playing with their cousins. It reminded me of when I was young at the reunions. Smiling at daddy
