Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
At Kealani's school this morning they celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday by having a green eggs and ham breakfast! They followed up with readings from some of his best books and I have been told Thing #1 & Thing #2 made an appearance also. However, at Mikaylas school they didnt not have any of these fun celebratory things and she was sadly disappointed by the end of the day.
So.....
I decided we would have a family Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss Party at home! We made a flag banner and our very own striped red hats. Our center piece was a pile of Dr. Seuss books and the appetizer was a napkin like table cloth for the kids to draw and write their own stories while they eagerly awaited tacos!
After dinner we had reading time while mom did dishes and after homework time will be followed by "pin the green eggs on the ham plate" and a cartoon movie'd version of "The Lorax."
